EDUCATING, INFORMING & PROTECTING - Maintaining community contact is an integral component of the 9-1-1 emergency response effort. Making available public education opportunities to increase citizen knowledge and understanding as to why 9-1-1 is the focal point of Fulton County's Public Safety System.

It is important to understand the functions of the emergency response process beginning with a 9-1-1 call to the arrival of Police, Fire and/or Emergency Medical Services.

It is the goal of the Public Education Team to share information with citizens of all ages, on the most effective use of calling 9-1-1 in any emergency situation.
