Dr. Ann Faith Harris, is the Acting Director of the Fulton County Office of Equal Employment Opportunity and Disability Affairs.  Dr. Harris possesses over 25 years of experience in public service and Merit System Administration with an expertise in Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action, Diversity and Cultural Competence program development, implementation and evaluation.

She joined the Fulton County Office of Equal Employment Opportunity in October, 2003.

Dr. Harris has served as the Multicultural Initiatives Coordinator for Monroe County’s Mental Health Provider Network in New York as well as Director of Multicultural Services for the New York State Department of Health and Director of Affirmative Action and Diversity for Illinois State University.

As a diversity consultant she continues to provide cultural audit, program assessment and training services for various universities, government offices, as well as for private and non profit organizations. Dr. Harris is also an adjunct instructor with North Carolina State University where she teaches a Diversity Management course for graduate Public Administration students.

Dr. Harris received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Black Studies and Vocal Performance from the State University of New York at Buffalo; a Masters in Public Administration from the State University College of New York at Brockport; and a doctorate in Public Administration from North Carolina State University in Raleigh. Her research interests center around the implications of culture, diversity, and racial identity on performance and other workplace equity issues.
