The Fulton County Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities offers comprehensive adult behavioral care services to Fulton County residents.  We offer a variety of treatment and rehabilitation services in a behavioral health care model that is designed to help individuals achieve and maintain independence and stability to they can play a more productive role within their families and community.

Our services focus on the following three areas:

Mental Health

• We operate behavioral health centers throughout Fulton County that offer a wide-range of services and addictive disease treatment at community-based locations

Developmental Disabilities

• Three regional centers provide clients with life skills training tailored to their particular disability.  Mobility training and day habilitation are also provided

Addictive Diseases

• We provide a variety of specialty outpatient treatment services for adults with chronic chemical dependencies.  Treatment is also available for individuals who have both mental health and substance abuse "co-occurring" disorders.

Fulton County Health Services operates a Behavioral Health Access & Information Line that offers the following service:

1. How to handle behavioral health situations
2. How to refer children or adults that need behavioral health services that includes - individual therapy, family & group therapy, substance abuse  treatment, psychiatric evaluation & treatment, medication management, and case management.
