The Fulton Life Enrichment Foundation, Inc.  was initially established in 2006 as a 501 c3 not for profit corporation to provide support to the  Fulton County Department of Mental  Health, Developmental Disabilities & Addictive Diseases in the areas of outreach, advocacy and fundraising.
 Â
The  mission was to greatly expand behavioral health services for economically disadvantaged youth at the Fulton County Oak Hill Child, Adolescent & Family Center, and increase access to care.  Likewise, the Foundation also recognized the need for expanded literacy, workforce development, and life skills programs for mothers with behavioral health disorders who were enrolled in the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) Women's Health  Initiative.  This federally funded grant program replaced what was known as welfare and provides families with both financial assistance and work opportunities.

Recently, the Fulton Life Enrichment Foundation is completing a strategic plan, and has identified its mission and vision as follows:

- To support children and youth health programs in Fulton County, Georgia through fundraising and public education.

- To enrich the lives of children and youth in Fulton County, Georgia

The primary focus of the Fulton Life Enrichment Foundation, Inc. consists of the following:
- Fundraising
- Community awareness
- Advocacy
In addition to supporting the Fulton County Oak Hill Child, Adolescent & Family Center, the Foundation also is committed to the Fulton County Clubhouse for Youth.
The Fulton Life Enrichment Foundation, Inc. accepts the following forms of charitable contributions:

- Corporate Matching Gifts
- In-Kind Support
  As part of its mission, 96% of all donations will support the mission of the organization, and only 4% will support administrative costs.
