May is National Mental Health Awareness Month

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will promote the theme of "CureStigma" throughout all awareness events, including the 2018 Mental Health Month.   The Fulton County Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) supports NAMI with its "CureStigma" initiative, and also will focus its awareness events around this theme.   For more information about the Department's planned Mental Health Month programs, please call (404) 613-3789.

Lunch and Learn

  • The Fulton County Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities will host  "Are You Sick & Tired of Being Sick & Tired?   Learn How to Lay Your Burdens Down" on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 12:00 PM in Room 3029 at the Fulton County Government Center, 141 Pryor Street, Atlanta, GA 30303.   This event is free and open to the public.

DD - Art Exhibit  Reception posterWEB2

  • The Fulton County Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities will host an art exhibit titled "Creative Like Me"  featuring the art of adults with developmental disabilities who receive services at our facilities.    The art exhibit is on display from March 7th thru May 24th in the Peachtree Gallery (2nd Floor) at the Fulton County Government Center, 141 Pryor Street, Atlanta, GA 30303.   The exhibit is  free and open to the public.   Learn more here, or call (404) 613-3789.
