FULTON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS RECOGNIZE SEPTEMBER AS BOTH NATIONAL RECOVERY MONTH & SUICIDE PREVENTION AWARENESS MONTH

Recovery Month Proclamation

On Wednesday, September 19th,  the Fulton County Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) was joined by River Edge Behavioral Health, Odyssey Family Counseling Center, Chris 180, Georgia Council on Substance Abuse, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Georgia, Grady Behavioral Health Center, and representatives from the Fulton County Courts to receive a proclamation from the Fulton County Board of Commissioners that recognized September as both National Recovery Month  & Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.   Read the official News Release here.

THE DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH & DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES HOSTS RIBBON CUTTING FOR NEW FACILITY AT SOUTH FULTON SERVICE CENTER

  • On Thursday, June 28TH, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners and the Fulton County Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities celebrated the opening of Adult Behavioral Health Services at the South Fulton Service Center with a ribbon cutting.    Read more here.

LYNNETTE ALLEN NAMED OPIOID COORDINATOR FOR FULTON COUNTY GOVERNMENT
