GENERAL BID INFORMATION

Any inquires, questions, clarifications, or suggestions regarding the solicitations should be submitted in writing to the Purchasing contact person. Contact with any other County personnel in regard to a current solicitation is strictly prohibited. Any RFP, Bid, or Quote received after the deadline identified will not be accepted and will not be considered for award.

Vendors must register in our Vendor Self Service system to receive notice of solicitation opportunities.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) AND INVITATION TO BID (ITB)

Request for Proposal and Invitation to Bid are formal solicitations for goods or services valued at $50,000 or more. Request for Proposal have the letters "RFP" in the number (example 07RFP001A). You should use the BID/RFP number and title description on the document when you contact our office with any questions. The due date is the date the RFP or Bid must be submitted to Fulton County Purchasing Department. The RFP or Bid opening time is normally 11:00 A.M. Eastern Standard/Daylight official time. You should always confirm and comply with the time shown on the solicitation.

REQUEST FOR QUOTES

Request for Quotes are for goods and services valued between $2,500 and $49,999.99. They are identified by additional alpha characters in the Quote number that designate the buyer's first and last initials. Example, 03JB123A - this would identify this quote for Joe Buyer's who works for Team A. The Quote opening time is normally 2:00 P.M., Eastern Standard/Daylight official time. Request for quotes are handled quickly, therefore, if you are interested in responding to a quote you must do so as soon as possible or no later than the specified deadline.

The Department of Purchasing & Contract Compliance will only accept responses to quotes electronically using our on-line Vendor Self Service system. You must be a registered vendor in order to respond to quotes. We provide a manual "On-Line Bidding For Quotes", to assist you with submitting your bid on-line.

YEAR TO DATE COMMODITIES PURCHASED

Year To Date Commodities Purchased is a listing of purchased goods and services during the current calendar year. The purpose of the list it to give vendors who want to do business with Fulton County an idea of the type of goods and services that the county solicits.
