Lynne Riley is the Fulton County Commissioner for District 3. This district is located in North Fulton and includes the cities of Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Mountain Park, and Roswell.

Commissioner Riley currently serves on Fulton County Employees Retirement Board and the Fulton County Defined Contribution Retirement Plan Committee. She is a Board Member of the Atlanta/Fulton County Water Resources Commission, and the Chair of the Fulton County Building Authority. She serves on U. S. Congressman Tom Price's Advisory Council. Commissioner Riley was appointed to the National Association of Counties (NACo) Finance and Intergovernmental Affairs Steering Committee. She serves as Vice-Chair of the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia's Economic Development and Transportation Policy Committee. Riley is a member of the Class of 2005 of the Atlanta Regional Commission's Regional Leadership Institute. In 2008, she was appointed by Governor Perdue to the Georgia Public Defender Supervisory Council for the Atlanta Judicial Circuit.

Lynne has been involved with an extensive group of community and civic organizations. Her service has included posts as treasurer and board member of the Johns Creek Community Association Inc., member of various Fulton County Citizen Advisory Boards, PTA volunteer at five Fulton County Schools, and served as an officer in the Aviary and Cameron Homeowners Associations. Lynne Riley has served the youth of North Fulton as a Girl Scout Troop Leader, and assistant coach for her daughters’ Alpharetta Eagles Cheerleading Team. Commissioner Riley is currently on the American Cancer Society North Fulton Advisory Board, and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra/Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park Board of Trustees. Lynne serves on the Board of the Alpharetta Police Athletic League, and is Treasurer of the Alpharetta Rotary Club. Lynne is a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Johns Creek Foundation, Inc.

Lynne Riley is a professional accountant and Principal of Riley Accounting Services. She has maintained her own practice for more than 26 years. She attended Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts, and the American Institute of Banking in Boston, Massachusetts.

Lynne is married to Mike Riley, Equipment Innovation Manager for The Coca-Cola Company. They have three children: Katie, a property management professional, Eileen, an interior design specialist, and Greg, a senior at Chattahoochee High School in Johns Creek. They are members of St. Benedict Catholic Church and are proud residents of the City of Johns Creek, Georgia.
