Fulton is one of just three counties in Georgia with highest rating from the national government watchdog organization For the second time in a row, Fulton County Government has received an A+ from the Sunshine Review for its transparency in providing information through the county website. Fulton County is one of only three counties in the State of Georgia to receive an A+ rating.

"We are extremely pleased that the Sunshine Review has recognized Fulton County with its highest rating for the second year in a row. Accessibility and transparency are top priorities for Fulton County Government. Our departments of Communications and Information Technology strive every day to ensure that our website reflects that,” said Zachary L. Williams, Fulton County Manager.
Sunshine Review listed the following features of Fulton County’s website that promote transparency: • Budget information is available dating back to 2007 • Meeting agendas and minutes are provided • Contact information for the County Commissioners is provided • Most other elected officials and administrators are listed • Zoning and some building permit information is provided • Audit and report information is available • Contract information is available, including some current contracts • Tax information is online, including an online payment system and a search function for tax bills.[9]. A property records search is also available • Fulton County does disclose membership in the Association of County Commissioners Georgia and the National Association of Counties • There is information about requesting public records
