As a part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009, Fulton County received a bond volume cap of $39,662,000 from the Federal Government to stimulate private investment in areas of significant economic distress. In an effort to identify projects that may potentially receive bond funding, the County is accepting applications from local development authorities within Fulton County (outside of the City of Atlanta). Developers seeking Recovery Zone funding can apply via a local development authority who then shall submit a completed application to the County no later than the close of business Friday, April 30, 2010.
