Led Zeppelin Reunion

Last night the O2 Arena in London saw a packed house for one of the most anticipated reunions in recent years. Led Zeppelin, considered by some to be Rock Gods, reunited for their first full concert since the death of drummer John Bonham in 1980. According to a review in the New York Times, the concert was a benefit for the Ahmet Ertegun Education Fund, named for the man who signed this infamous band to Atlantic Records, “which will offer music students scholarships to universities in the United States, England, and Turkey, his homeland.”

Now just because most of us weren’t able to pop over to the other side of the pond for the show, doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the music and history of this band just the same. A-FPLS has a number of Zeppelin CDs, books and biographies in many of its branches. Rock out to your favorite songs on albums like the BBC Sessions 1969-71, read about the life of a legend in Jimmy Page : magus, musician, man : an unauthorized biography, written by George Case and released earlier this year, or learn to play Babe I’m Gonna Leave You by checking out The humongous guitar songbook : guitar tab collection. Check the catalog here for these and other titles about this legendary band.
