The Fulton County Department of Public Works will hold a second public information meeting for the Butner Road at Stonewall Tell Road Intersection Improvement. Conceptual plan layouts will be on display at this meeting and Public Works Transportation staff and consultants will be available for questions.

The project involves designing improvements for the existing four-way intersection of Butner Road and Stonewall Tell Road. Butner Road crosses Stonewall Tell Road at a severe skew. The redesigned intersection will not only improve traffic flow and alleviate vehicular conflicts, but provide pedestrian facilities (crosswalks, safety islands, lighting) and be ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant.

The purpose of the meeting is to present the proposed project scope, and gather comments from area residents and property owners.

Fulton County Department of Public Works and the design consultant, Qk4 will hold a second Public Information Open House on June 21, 2010, at the Atlanta Fulton Public Library – Southwest Branch located at 3665 Cascade Road, SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30331 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The purpose of this Open House is to present the proposed scope, and gather comments from area residents and property owners.
 

The project concept for Campbellton Road at Boat Rock Road proposes signalization with left and right turn lanes; additionally Boat Rock Road at New Hope Road proposes relocation to the north of its existing location. The project will provide sidewalks, curb and gutter, and meet ADA guidelines.
