Program Mission:
The mission of the Community Risk Reduction (CRR) program is to facilitate the overall reduction of risk to the community resulting from natural or man-made hazards.
Program Description:
The CRR program consists of media, corporate and community relations and engages in overall hazard mitigation activities such as fire safety education, inspections, investigations and the management of fire code permits.
Program Activities:
1. Conduct community risk reduction education and information activities.
2. Conduct hazard prevention plan review and inspection activities.
3. Conduct fire cause and other investigatory activities.

Program Goal Statements:
1. To conduct community risk reduction activities that increase community awareness of man-made risks.
2. To conduct inspections of occupancies for fire code compliance.
3. To conduct investigations into potential fire code violations.
