The Department of Purchasing of Purchasing & Contract Compliance provides these workshop training to vendors who want to do business with Fulton County Government and want to understand the procurement process. Training will be held in the Fulton County Government Center, Department of Purchasing & Contract Compliance at 130 Peachtree Street, S.W., Suite 1168, Atlanta, Georgia 30303, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Time is allotted for questions and answers. There is no cost for training.

The workshops will provide:

  1. Free classes that provide informative and innovated resources designed to assist contractors in successfully completing the bond application process
  2. An overview of the surety bonding process for contractors attempting to obtain their first bond
  3. One-on-one technical assistance will be provided to contractors who may currently have difficulty qualifying for bonds or obtaining the bond amount they desire.

General Overview of Surety Bonding

This class will be held quarterly and will cover various aspects of surety bonding, tips for obtaining your first bond, increasing bond capacity and the multiple services provided by a surety. The dates for training are:

Bonding & Insurance Training Series

This monthly series of classes is designed to train, educate and inform contractors of bonding requirements necessary to participate in the competitive bidding process. The dates for training are:
