Check_out_the_new_teen_center

Neighborhood Union Health Center provides integrated health options to address abstinence, bullying, healthy relationships, teen parenting and other issues facing tweens and teens

Fulton County’s Neighborhood Union Health Center recently opened a new tweens and teens clinic. The once monthly clinic will reach out to that unique population of youth between the ages of 10-12, commonly called "Tweens" because they are "in between" childhood and being a teenager and teens 13-18 years old. The Center will offer expanded services to meet the specific needs and concerns of adolescents.

The Clinic will open every fourth Thursday from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m., during the after school hours. Tweens and teens along with their parents can learn about:

  • Abstinence Negotiation Skills
  • Parenting through the “Baby Think It Over" program (provides real-world view of the demands of parenting)
  • Nutrition
  • College Readiness
  • Healthy Relationships and Bullying

Teens can also take advantage of:

  • Health screenings
  • Immunizations
  • Sports physicals
  • STD and HIV screenings, counseling and treatment

All of these services will be provided by Fulton County Public Health Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, behavioral health clinicians, health educators and Resource Moms.

Neighborhood Union’s Tween and Teen Clinic is part of Teen Center services provided by Health and Wellness. For more information about the Neighborhood Union Health Center Tween and Teen Clinic, call 404-612-4665.
