In 2004, as part of Fulton County's commitment to operate an efficient and effective government, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners launched the Fulton County Citizens' University, a series of interactive courses offered to Fulton County citizens, instructed by Fulton County Department Heads and their staff. Participants examine the same kinds of challenges faced by County staff for a fuller understanding of the business of local government.
Fulton County Citizens University is an annual twelve week program that is limited to 30 participants. In order to graduate, students need to earn a minimum of 200 credits with students earning 20 credits per class. The Registration Fee is $40.00 per person to defray the cost of a class shirt, course materials, graduation ceremony and diplomas.
