The responsibility of the Equal Employment Opportunity Program is to ensure adherence to Fulton County's Anti-Harassment/Sexual Harassment Policy and Procedures and Prejudicial Acts Policy and Procedure which, in conjunction with relevant federal laws (including but not limited to: Title VII of the Civil Rights Acts as amended [CRA], Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Genetic Non Discrimination Act, and Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act as amended [ADA] which prohibit employment discrimination on the basis of race, age , gender, national origin, religion. The Equal Employment Opportunity Program is also responsible for investigating discrimination claims based on color, national origin and race in the provision of government services, programs and benefits as well as in contracting activities pursuant to Title VI of the CRA as well as denial of program access to persons with disabilities under Title II of the ADA.
