The Department of Parks and Recreation, a division of Planning & Community Services is comprised of three operating divisions. They offer use of the facilities for passive and leisure services to the citizens of Fulton County. Parks and Recreation services are provided in unincorporated Fulton County where they manage vast acres of park land. South Fulton maintains a facilities inventory of nine recreation centers, four clay tennis courts, 40 hard tennis courts, 47 trap and skeet houses, three gymnasiums, Â an indoor natatorium, and 37 athletic fields.
To provide a standard of excellence in service, facilities, programs and preservation of resources while working in concert with residents and Fulton County Governmentâ€™s leadership.
