First, you must find out if sewer is available in your area. Do this by calling the Public Works Department at 404-612-7400. If sewer is available to your property, you then must pay a sewer connection fee.  If the property is in the incorporated area of Fulton County, then you need to pay the sewer connection fee in the Public Works Department, Fulton County Government Center, 141 Pryor Street, 6th Floor.  If the property is in the unincorporated area of Fulton County, then you need to pay the sewer connection fee at the Fulton County Government Service Center at Fulton Industrial, 5660 Fulton Industrial Boulevard, Department of Environment and Community Development . The connection fee varies in different locations.

If sewer service is not available to your property, you may petition the Public Works Department to extend the sewer line to accommodate you. You will be responsible for the entire cost of such an extension.
