How do I get a Demolition Permit to demolish a structure? |

To obtain a Demolition Permit you must make an application at our office at the Fulton County Government Service Center at Fulton Industrial, 5440 Fulton INdustrial Boulevard, Atlanta, GAÂ 30336. You must know the business license number of the contractor who is going to demolish the structure. If the structure contains asbestos, your contractor must present his Asbestos Contracting License and Notification of Asbestos Renovation, Encapsulation or Demolition from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Asbestos Licensing and Certification Unit, Environmental Protection Division. In most cases, the demolition of an entire structure requires a Pest Control Letter from the Health Department (404-612-1211).
