The deadline to submit applications is December 8, 2017 Fulton County Arts and Culture (FCAC) is pleased to announce funding ranging from $2,000 to $75,000 for Fulton County based arts, cultural and community based non-profit organizations for the 2018 funding cycle. Fulton County invests in organizations, artists and programs that enhance the quality of life of all citizens through the arts; including support of internationally recognized institutions to community-based organizations. Eligible groups are encouraged to apply for these service contracts which are designed to support activities taking place between January 1 through December 31, 2018 that addresses the Fulton County Arts & Culture program mission to provide access, participation and appreciation of the arts for all Fulton County residents. Contracts for Services (CFS) provides unrestricted general operating and project support to nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations, arts & culture organizations, cultural institutions, colleges and universities, as well as units of government and individual artists that produce or present ongoing arts programming open to the public. CFS contractors present programs that reflect the cultural diversity of the County, captures the imagination of adults, families and youth, invigorate neighborhood growth, support economic development and provides jobs. Exciting changes to the CFS program for 2018 include; an increase of ceiling amounts for organizations applying for general operating support with budgets up to $3 million and a multi-year funding option in the Operating Support Funds (OSF) category. The FCAC team will conduct application process workshops which are free and open to the public. Advanced registration is required. First time applicants are required to attend one workshop or consult with the FCAC staff prior to submitting an application. There will also be an online tutorial on how to apply available for all applicants. Contractors are selected after a thorough evaluation by a peer review panel of professionals representing a variety of artistic disciplines and professional backgrounds. Nonprofit arts and other organizations throughout Fulton County are encouraged to apply. |
