South Fulton Citizens Can Take Advantage of Free Disposal of Bulk Waste on Saturday October 10, 2015 | Print |

Fulton County will sponsor Bulk Waste Amnesty Day on Saturday, October 10, 2015. The disposal day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m.

Fulton County residents who would like to shred documents in a secure area or dispose of their bulky waste, can drop it off at one of the following Fulton County Solid Waste Stations on the dates listed above.

Board of Commissioners Approves Investment of more than $200,000 to Improve Efficiency of Elections Process | Print |

At the August 5, 2015 board meeting, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners (BOC) approved the purchase of an election/asset management system and Poll Worker on-line training software system recommended by the county’s Department of Registration and Elections. Both systems will align the department to continue resolving issues that arose during the general election and general election runoff of 2008 as well as the primary and general elections of 2012.

Unveiling of Smart Phone Apps That Improves County Quality of Life

Fulton County Government is unveiling a new smart phone app, Fulco2Go, built by CitySourced. Fulco2Go allows residents to easily report basic traffic and code enforcement issues.  It also enables them to report animal control issues from their smart phones (by utilizing photo & GPS location) to be automatically sent to the appropriate Fulton County Department for resolution. Fulton County is excited to provide residents improved access to issue reporting and other helpful County information.

The Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness and the Georgia Department of Public Health are continuing to gather information in their investigation of the possible Cyclospora parasite contamination of food served to the public.   They are gathering information from residents who believe they may have been stricken with cyclosporiasis.
