South Fulton residents take advantage of pet adoption and pet services at South Fulton’s Canine Crossing
Despite the morning clouds and a chance of rain, South Fulton residents came out in numbers Saturday, May 22, 2010 to the First Annual Pet Adoption Festival at Canine Crossing. The event was sponsored by Fulton County Parks and Recreation along with Fulton County Animal Control Services.

Fulton County Fights Smog With “No Idling” Policy As metro Atlanta’s annual smog season begins, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners is taking steps to reduce air pollution from county vehicles. The Board recently adopted a “no idling” policy that directs drivers of Fulton County’s fleet vehicles to turn off their engines , instead of allowing them to idle.

Fulton County Board of Commissioners Approves Final 2010 Budget |

At its January 20 meeting, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners (BOC) approved the FY2010 General Fund Final Budget. The BOC affirmed its commitment to Fulton County citizens and, for the fourth year in a row, did not raise the millage rate.
