Fulton County to Examine Combating Tobacco Use |

Recent studies estimate the prevalence of adult smokers in Fulton County to be about 90,000. According to the Georgia Departments of Community Health, one of every six deaths in adult Georgians is due to tobacco related illness. Georgia continues to fall behind other states in reducing the burden of tobacco use. Fulton County moves forward to examine tobacco use in the county, how to decrease tobacco use and the effect of tobacco use in our communities.
