The Fulton County Task Force on HIV/AIDS (the Task Force) was established by resolution of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners (BOC). The Task Force aims to decrease the transmission of HIV within Fulton County and to improve the quality of life for persons living with HIV infection. The Task Force will accomplish this mission by creating and monitoring the implementation of a â€śStrategy to End AIDSâ€ť in Fulton County. The Task Force also provides advice to the Board of Commissioners regarding issues impacting HIV/AIDS in Fulton County. The Task Force will convene a broad range of stakeholders including experts in HIV prevention, care, and epidemiology; service providers; community leaders; and representatives from populations impacted by HIV/AIDS in Fulton County.
