  1. Wolf Creek Branch Library Groundbreaking
    Wolf Creek Library  

    The community is invited to attend a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Wolf Creek Branch Library on Thursday, May 30 at 11 a.m. The new library will be built on Merk Road. Guests may park at the nearby Wolf Creek Amphitheater and Public Safety Training Facility, located at 3025 Merk Road, College Park, and a shuttle will be available to transport guests to the ceremony.

Fulton Health and Human Services Breaks Ground for Regional Health Center in Southwest Atlanta | Print |

Commissioner Emma I. Darnell, District 5 and Fulton County Health and Human Services will hold a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. to mark the beginning of a major construction project designed to convert the Adamsville Health Center in to the Adamsville Regional Health Center.  The groundbreaking ceremony will take place at 3690 Martin Luther King Jr., Drive in southwest Atlanta.

Fulton Health Services Encourages Women to Take Control to Beat the Odds Against Breast Cancer | Print |

According to the Georgia Department of Community Health, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women in Fulton County.  Regular breast cancer screenings (a mammogram every one to two years for women over the age of 40) can reduce can reduce deaths from this condition.
