Fulton County Fights Smog With ‚ÄúNo Idling‚ÄĚ Policy
As metro Atlanta‚Äôs annual smog season begins, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners is taking steps to reduce air pollution from county vehicles. The Board recently¬†adopted a ‚Äúno idling‚ÄĚ policy that directs drivers of Fulton County‚Äôs fleet vehicles to turn off their engines , instead of allowing them to idle.¬†

Community Development Block Grant Stimulus Funds Available | Print |

Fulton County has received $711,167 in Community Development Block Grant funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act stimulus package. The primary emphasis of this program is to focus activities in areas where maximum economic benefit can be achieved and where temporary or permanent jobs can be created through the use of these funds. The CDBG-R was submitted to HUD on June 5 as outlined in the Public Notice.
