North Fulton Service Center Renovation Process Begins
Services to remain available to citizens on-site during April 5 – July 2 renovation process
Beginning today, April 5, 2010, Fulton County contractors have begun a renovation project at the North Fulton Service Center located at 7741 Roswell Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30350. The renovations of the center will provide citizens with more access to a wider range of county services. The scope of the renovations will include the demolition of interior offices and renovation of space to bring the building up to current energy code and American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
The renovations project also includes construction of a new regional health care facility that will feature a comprehensive service delivery for individuals and families. Â Services that will be provided in the new regional health care facility will include primary care, public health, behavioral health, dental services, housing and workforce development services, and a child care area for clients receiving services.
The North Fulton Service Center renovations project is particularly important because it is part of the county’s plan to bring services together under one roof in an effort to help citizens address multiple life problems at one time. Citizens can go to one central location to receive Health, Career and Life services.
During the approximately 90 days of renovations, citizens will continue to receive all existing services at the North Fulton Service Center except for services provided from the Tax Commissioner’s office and The Tax Assessor’s office.
