Youthful female leaders of the future visited the Board of Commissioners meeting on March 16, 2011.  The group of 22 future leaders used the opportunity to display their confidence and public speaking skills.

The Fulton County Youth Leadership Academy for Girls involves rising young third grade female students in a rigorous, structured program that cultivates social skills, encourages economic literacy and sparks their entrepreneurial drives.  The program exposes young girls to accomplished local businesswomen and civic leaders in addition to a variety of civic engagement activities, site visits and field experiences.  For more information about the Youth Leadership Academy for girls, call Andrea Douglas at 404-613-7937.
