Fulton Commissioners Approve Proposed Amendments to the Fulton County Fiscal Year 2011 Consolidated Plan Annual Action Plan | Print |

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved today, April 6, 2011, proposed amendments to the Fulton County Fiscal Year 2011 Consolidated Plan Annual Action Plan. 

The Fiscal Year 2011 Consolidated Plan Annual Action Plan amendments guide the use of all funds that benefit low-and moderate-income residents of Fulton County.  The use of funds is directed by the Board of Commissioners and the County choosing eligible activities based on U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations.

The approval follows February public hearings in North Fulton and South Fulton County.  The amendments alter funding uses for 14 programs including park, sidewalk and building improvements across Fulton County including an allocation for Metro Fair Housing.  Funds are also provided for blight reduction, Emergency Assistance Grants and Housing Rehabilitation.

Estimated Federal Allocations for FY 2011 (based on previous allocation of FY 2010)
$2,686,122 – Allocation of 2011 CDBG ($2,686,122 – Yearly CDBG Allocation
$1,259,252 – Allocation of 2011 HOME ($1,259,252 – Yearly HOME Allocation)
$     88,413 – Allocation of 2011 ESG ($88,413 – Yearly ESG Allocation)
