Commissioner William “Bill” Edwards, District 7 welcomes all to attend a Ribbon Cutting in Celebration of the completion of the 1.9 mile project
Commissioner William “Bill” Edwards, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners and the Fulton County Public Works Department are pleased to announce the completion of the Will Lee Road Construction Project.
This year long project brings 1.901 miles of sidewalk, a pedestrian bridge and beautiful landscaping to the area. The project spans the area between SR 14, Roosevelt Highway to Welcome All Road. The project gives residents a safer walking environment and easier connectivity to Welcome All Park.
Commissioner Edwards said that, “Sidewalks improve the quality of life of any community by providing safe, improved mobility of all pedestrians; children, adults, walkers, bicyclists and persons with disabilities. We are proud to be able to provide these much needed, sidewalks to this great community.”
