Fulton County Conducts Special Election for State House District 60 | Print |

A Special Election for State House District 60 will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012.

State House District 60 includes parts of Clayton, DeKalb and Fulton Counties. Residents can participate by requesting an absentee ballot in the mail, participating in Advance voting or casting a ballot on February 7. Voters in Georgia do not have to provide a reason to vote prior to Election Day either by mail or in person.

Absentee Voting
The deadline to request an absentee ballot for the Special Election is Friday, February 3, 2012. Absentee ballots must be completed and returned to the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections by 7:00 p.m. on the day of the Special Election. You can download an absentee ballot application at www.fultoncountyga.gov.

Advance Voting
Fulton County will offer Advance voting for the Special Election from January 17, 2012 to February 3, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Fulton County Government Center (141 Pryor Street, Suite 2186, Atlanta, GA 30303). Saturday voting will be offered on Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Fulton County Government Center.

Voting on February 7, 2012
Fulton County will have seven voting precincts open on the day of the Special Election. The polls will be open from 7: 00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. For more information on the Special Election and other upcoming elections, residents can log on to www.fultoncountyga.gov.
