Fulton County’s State & Magistrate Courts, along with the Fulton County Solicitor’s Office, are joining legal organizations across Georgia in a food drive to support efforts to feed 1.6 million Georgians going without food. Fulton County residents are invited to donate food items in the State Court’s Self Help Center from Monday, April 23 through Friday, May 4.   The Self Help Center is located on the Ground Floor of the Fulton County Justice Center Tower, Suite TG300, 185 Central Avenue, Atlanta, Georgia 30303.

The Fulton County State Court is supporting the Georgia Attorney General’s Office and Georgia State Bar, in partnership with the Georgia Food Bank Association.  Food banks across Georgia currently have a record high demand for food resources from working families, senior citizens and individuals who are unemployed and having financial difficulties.  The purpose of the food drive is to replenish and re-stock the food banks to help meet high demands.

The most needed food items are Peanut Butter, Canned Tuna, Canned Beans, Canned Soups, Stews, Pastas, 100% Fruit Juice, Canned Fruits, Vegetables, Macaroni and Cheese Dinners, Whole Grains, and Low Sugar Cereals (boxed).
