Fulton County Clerk of Superior Court, Cathelene “Tina” Robinson (Atlanta Judicial Circuit) has announced the Fulton County Clerk of Superior Court, Closed File Room, Space Saver Renovation Project. This renovation plan, which will maximize space and assist the Clerk’s office in delivering more efficient customer service began on January 4, 2013 and is slated for completion in April of 2013.

To facilitate the remodel, all criminal and civil case files currently housed in the Closed File Room (located at 136 Pryor Street) will be relocated to the office’s off-site, warehouse at English Street. However, customers may continue to make requests at the 136 Pryor Street location. In lieu of going to the Closed File Room area, customers will be gain assistance at one of the Notary and Passport windows. The file room viewing area will remain open during renovations.

While this transformation will cause slight delays in processing times, patrons are encouraged to submit all requests via email ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Standard 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday office hours will remain in effect.

In previous years, the Closed File Room housed files dating five years from its current date. Now, the immediate location will conveniently store files which date back ten years.

In a statement given by Clerk Robinson regarding the upcoming renovation, she stated, “I am extremely excited about the improvements that will take place in the next few weeks to our Closed File Room.
