Are you a business owner interested in growing your business?   Are you interested in learning how to better sustain your company? If the answer to these questions is yes then Fulton County’s Economic Development Division has an event tailored especially for you.  

The Fulton County Economic Development Division is hosting a one day small business summit to help small and midsized business owners reach their goals and realize their potential.  

The event, “Getting the Deal: “Money, Process & Growth Strategies” will be held at the Georgia Tech Research Institute Conference Center on August 26, 2013. The highlight of the summit will be nationally recognized speaker Randal Pinkett a successful business man and Season 4 Winner of the television show “Apprentice” and keynote speaker Stephen Fleming, Vice President & Executive Director of the Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute, the nation’s largest and most comprehensive university-based program of assistance to business and industry.

Topics to be discussed at the summit include:

  • Roadmaps to securing international trade opportunities

  • Renewable Energy Opportunities

“Getting the Deal: Money, Process & Strategies Summit” Guest Speakers

 

Dr. Randall Pinkett is mostly recognized as being the winner in the fourth series of Donald Trump’s “The Apprentice.”   Mr. Trump describes him as “An amazing leader.”

Dr. Pinkett, a Rhodes Scholar with five advanced degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Oxford, currently serves as the chairman and CEO of BCT Partners, LLC based in Newark, New Jersey.   The company is a national consulting firm specializing in program management, economic development, and workforce development. BCT Partners’ mission is to partner with clients to build organizational capacity, strengthen communities and improve quality of life.

Stephen Fleming – is the Vice President & Executive Director of the Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute, the nation’s largest and most comprehensive university-based program of assistance to business and industry.   Mr. Fleming has served as Georgia Tech’s chief commercialization officer and led the Enterprise Innovations Institute’s Commercialization Services Division in creating new companies based on research discoveries.   He has over 10 years of private equity experience at the General Partner level.
