Fulton County will open 24 Early Voting locations May 2 - 20

The Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections will open 24 early voting locations for registered voters to cast their ballots for the 2016 General Nonpartisan Primary and Special Election. Early Voting runs Monday, May 2nd through Friday, May 20th, 2016. Saturday voting will take place May 7 & 14, 2016; Sunday voting May 8 & 15, 2016.

“I cannot stress enough how important it is for residents to know the address of their polling place prior to heading to the poll,” states Richard Barron, Director of Registration and Elections. “One of the most asked question we receive on Election Day is ‘where do I go to vote?’. That information, as well as directions, is posted on our website at www.fultonelections.com.

Fulton County residents are encouraged to take advantage of Early Voting to avoid long lines on Election Day, Tuesday, May 24, 2016.

“To avoid stress, I strongly recommend residents to vote early,” states Barron. “Also, remember that during Early Voting, they can vote at any of the 24 poll locations but on Election Day, they have to vote at their designated polling precinct.”
