Final Results: More Than 260,000 Votes Cast Early In Fulton County | Print |

Fulton County Registration and Elections officials say 26,985 voters cast their ballots on the final day of early voting, Friday, November 4.  As a result, the county reports that 260,934 Fulton County residents voted early in the 2016 General Election.  This count allowed the county to exceed the expectations of 250,000 early voters by the close of the Early Voting period.
“In spite of lines reaching 300 people or more in length, they heard no grumbling, only people looking forward to vote,” said Richard Barron, Director, Fulton County Registration and Elections. “We surpassed 2008 and 2012 with more than 111,000 and 109,000 early voters, respectively.”
For those who have yet to cast their vote, Election Day Polls open Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 7a.m.  Voters can find the location of their general election polling place by logging on to the Georgia Secretary of State’s My Voter Page at
