Free Disposal of Bulk Waste Available to South Fulton Citizens on November 4 | Print |

Fulton County District 6 Commissioner Emma I. Darnell, Fulton County District 5 Commissioner Marvin S. Arrington, Jr., Fulton County Government and the City of South Fulton will sponsor Bulky Trash & Secure Shredding Recycling Day Saturday, November 4, 2017.  

Residents can dispose of bulk trash at no cost.   Large items such as appliances, furniture, electronics, televisions, computers, keyboards, monitors, printers, automobile tires (a limit of 4 unmounted), latex paints, oil based paints, batteries, household chemicals, motor oil and auto products, gasoline, kerosene, fuels (in small tanks), pesticide, gardening chemicals, roofing tar, photo-chemicals, aerosols, thermometers and switches will be accepted.   The drop-off locations will not accept construction waste, demolition debris, yard waste.   Shredding will be available at the Merk Road location only.    
 
Bulk Waste Amnesty Days are scheduled to encourage residents to remove large waste items that tarnish the beauty of South Fulton neighborhoods.   The Public Works Department has designated the following three drop off locations:
