The Transportation Division will respond to traffic issues, such as burned out traffic lights, potholes, and problems with street signage. We are also responsible for maintaining sidewalks, bridges, and stormwater conveyances, as well as dead animal removal from the right-of-way. The Transportation Division only provides services in unincorporated south Fulton County. If the issue is within City limits, report the problem to the respective municipality.Â

The Education and Outreach Division offers many opportunities to get involved with your community's natural environment. You can get involved by participating in the Adopt-A-Stream and Storm Drain Marking programs. Organize a stream cleanup or organize a community cleanup day for your neighborhood.Â
How do I receive a toilet rebate? Toilets are one of the biggest users of water in the home. Same money and conserve water by replacing your old fixtures with newer high efficiency toilets. You can receive rebates of $100 each on up to two toilet replacements in your home.Â

Staff within the Technical Services Division will assist you with determining water and sewer availability in your area. If it is not available, you may petition the County to extend service to your neighborhood. To simply connect new service contact the Finance Department.
How do I find a landfill or transfer station near me? The Solid Waste Management Division oversees landfills, transfer stations, composting, and recycling facilities within the County and provides regulatory oversight of private trash and residential solid waste providers.Â

The Water Conservation Program offers Fulton County residents many tips and opportunities to conserve water. You can conduct a water audit, build a rain barrel, and learn about water efficient landscaping. The current outdoor water use schedule was implemented in June 2010.Â
How do I properly dispose of common household waste items, like paint or fats, oils, and grease? The Pollution Prevention Program can guide you in the proper disposal of common household hazardous waste items and the fats, oils, and grease by-products of food preparation.Â
