The Fulton County Pollution Prevention program is designed to protect our water quality through education and outreach. Pollution Prevention focuses on two main program areas: Household Hazardous Waste and Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG).
Fat, Oils and Grease The message āF.O.G. FREE MEANS CLOG FREEā is the slogan that we have adopted for our residential fats, oils and grease program. This program is designed to provide citizens with the tools and knowledge they need to help prevent sewer clogs and backups in homes, businesses, and communities.
Household Hazardous Waste The Household Hazardous Waste program promotes the reduction, reuse and recycling of common household products and provides Fulton County residents with advice about environmentally safe, convenient ways to dispose of unwanted household products, such as paints, solvents, fuels, cleaners, and pesticides.
Recycling Education Most everyone knows about the three R's - Reduce, Reuse, & Recycle. By following these three principles we can all cut down the amount of waste each of us generates every day.
