Public Meeting   on Big Creek WRF Expansion March 19th, 2019

The Department of Public Works will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, March 19th, 2019 from 6-8 pm at the Chattahoochee Nature Center, 9135 Willeo Road, Roswell, GA 30075.   The purpose of the meeting is to inform the public of the need for improvements to Fulton County's Big Creek Water Reclamation Facility, to provide an update on the design of the planned changes to the site, and to provide information on the project schedule and opportunities for input into the process.

Fairy and Toad House Workshop at Ocee Branch Library

Winterization Programs Help Residents Prevent Frozen Pipes

Septic Tank Basics Workshop for Homeowners

Cool Waters Educator Workshop Open for Registration

This summer, Fulton County Public Works will partner with other area utilities to present the 2018 Cool Waters educator workshop.   The workshop is open to teachers at all grade levels and focuses on water and wastewater treatment and watershed stewardship.   Participants will become certified Project WET educators. Fulton County Announces 3rd Annual Model Water Tower Competition

Veolia Accepting Resumes for Summer Internship Program

Veolia's summer internship program is open to high school and college students, and gives participants and understanding of the water and wastewater treatment processes while introducing them to some of the many career opportunities available in water.

Senior Workshops Focus on Preventing Frozen Pipes

Fulton County Public Works staff will conduct workshops at three senior centers in January 2018 to help residents prevent damage from frozen or burst pipes.   Our Protect Your Pipes fact sheet can also help you prepare for winter weather.

Water Art Calendar Contest Winners Recognized by Board of Commissioners

The 22 winners whose artwork appear in the 2018 Water Art Calendar were recognized on December 20th with a reception at the Fulton County Government Center and a proclamation by the Board of Commissioners.
