Traffic Operations is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining and operating all traffic control devices, pavement markings, and signage in uninncorporated south Fulton County to provide safe pedestrian and vehicular movement.

This section is also responsible for collecting and analyzing data through transportation studies.


What we do:

• Pavement Marking - Maintain roadway striping and raised pavement markings.
• Traffic Control Devices - Install and maintain Traffic Signals, School Zone Lights and Flashing Caution lights.
• Traffic Control Signage - Manufacture, install and maintain roadway signs.
• Traffic Engineering Studies - Conduct traffic engineering warrants studies and signal timing analysis.
