Fulton County is conducting State House District 50 Special Election on January 6, 2015. Polls will remain open until 7 p.m. in House District 50 precinct locations. Results will be available here after polls close. Poll Worker Application | Print |

Are you interested in serving your community, making new friends, and earning extra money? Do you possess basic computer skills? Apply to become one of the many civic-minded citizens who work at the polls on Election Day. The Fulton County Elections Office is seeking highly motivated dependable individuals to work from 6:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. (9:30 p.m. for City of Atlanta General Election) on Election Day.

Working as a poll worker will not affect government benefits such as social security or public aide and Is Not Reported to the IRS, unless you earn $600.00 or more per year as a poll worker.

*ALL WORKERS MUST*

Complete online training and face-to-face training

There is online and face-to-face equipment training required for all Poll Workers prior to each election. Poll Workers who complete the online and face-to-face training are paid $30.00. This pay is contingent upon you working Election Day. If you do not work on Election Day, your $30.00 training pay will be forfeited,

COME ABOARD AND EXPERIENCE THE ELECTION PROCESS FIRST-HAND

To Apply, Complete the online Application  as soon as possible.

CLERK/GREETER $ 175.00

1. Must be a resident of Fulton County.

2. Must be at least 16 years of age.

3. Must successfully attend and complete training class conducted by Fulton County Elections before each election.

4. Must assist with setting up polling place.

5. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

ASSISTANT MANAGER $ 200.00

1. Must be willing to perform duties as Chief Manager, in his or her absence if requested by the Elections Office (which would require picking up election supplies and/or equipment and bringing the same to a check-in center). This is mandatory.

2. Must have served as a Clerk in at least ONE prior election in Fulton County.

3. Must have your own transportation to pick up election supplies and/or equipment and bringing same to check-in center, and be able to lift 30 lbs.

4. Must accompany Poll Manager on election night to deliver supplies and  ballots to check–in center.

5. Must assist with setting up polling place.

6. Must successfully attend and complete training class conducted by Fulton County Elections before each election.

CHIEF MANAGER $ 250.00

1. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

2. Must have served in at least ONE prior election in Fulton County as an Assistant Manager.

3. Must successfully attend and complete training class conducted by Fulton County Elections before each election.

4. Must have your own transportation to pick up election supplies and/or equipment and bringing same to check-in center and be able to lift 30 lbs.

DUAL MANAGER $ 275.00

1. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

2. Must have served in at least ONE prior election in Fulton County as a Manager.

3. Must successfully attend and complete training class conducted by Fulton County Elections before each election.

4. Must have your own transportation to pick up election supplies and/or equipment, and bringing same to check-in center and be able to lift 30 lbs.

2012 Fulton County Voters Guide

Key Dates:
•    October 9, 2012 – Voter Registration Deadline for November 6, 2012 General Election
•    October 15, 2012 – Early Voting begins, running Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. through Friday, November 2, 2012
•    Friday, November 2, 2012 – Final Day to request Absentee Ballot
•    Tuesday, November 6, 2012 - Election Day!
