Welcome to the Fulton County Oak Hill Child, Adolescent & Family Center
Oak Hill was established as a "one-stop" location dedicated to providing high-quality and culturally competent behavioral health services to Fulton County youth between the ages of 0 to 21 years old. The services enable children and youth to achieve and maintain independence and stability so they can play a more productive role within their families, schools and community.
The Fulton County Oak Hill Child, Adolescent & Family Center has been relocated to 3444 Claire Drive in Hapeville, Georgia while its primary facility undergoes an extensive renovation. Once the renovation has been completed, the Oak Hill Campus will offer "one-stop" solution-focused behavioral health care, primary care, oral care, community garden, library services, after-school programs, summer programs, and wellness programs that address childhood issues such as obesity and asthma.  To learn more information about our child and adolescents programs and services, and to attain comprehensive information about behavioral health disorders in youth, please visit our website - www.oakhillkids.org.

Juvenile Justice System Services - a Behavioral Health Clinician from the Fulton County Oak Hill Child, Adolescent & Family Center is available at the Walk-In Crisis Counseling Clinic located at the Fulton County Juvenile Court, every Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Our Behavioral Health Clinician offers brief interventions and referrals for follow-up treatment. The goal is to reduce the number of Unruly Petitions filed at the Court, and to assist families with receiving counseling.Â

Therapeutic Summer Program - this program focuses on providing a safe environment for youth during the summer, and is designed for children and adolescent who typically do not succeed in traditional community based summer programs. Youth enrolled in this program will engage in individual and group therapy to learn social skills, anger management, conflict resolution and other pro-social behaviors to ensure their success at home, at school, and in the community. They also spend time in separate groups to focus on gender specific issues. This program operates during the summer school recess period, and meals are provided.

Therapeutic After-School Program - this program provides a safe environment for Fulton County youth during after-school hours, and is designed for children and adolescents who typically do not succeed in traditional community-based after-school programs. Youth enrolled in this program will engage in individual and group therapy to learn social skills, anger management, conflict resolution and other pro-social behaviors to ensure their success at home, at school, and in the community. They also spend time in separate groups to focus on gender specific issues. Participants also receive daily homework assistance and preparation for the CRCT test. This program operates during the school year on Monday thru Thursday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Clubhouse - the Clubhouse will serve as the outpatient adolescent substance abuse treatment program for youth ages 14 thru 18 years old. Services will be offered during non-traditional hours to allow youth an alternative place to spend their after-school hours. The program will have a "clubhouse" atmosphere with activities geared towards adolescents and young adults, including pool tables, Wii, PlayStation and outdoor basketball courts. Youth also will take field trips around metropolitan Atlanta. This program operates Monday - Friday 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Services are provided by licensed clinical social workers, licensed professional counselors, certified child and adolescent psychiatrists and nurses. Each clinician has a wide array of experience in working with children. The Fulton County Oak Hill Child, Adolescent & Family Center is a member of the Fulton Family Care Network.
Group Therapy
The Fulton County Oak Hill Child, Adolescent & Family Center offers the following group therapy programs:

Grief & Loss Group - teaches skills for youth to cope with life's difficulties, such as: divorce, the incarceration of a parent, death of a loved one, etc.

Coping Skills Group - teaches skills that enables youth to successfully cope with difficult periods in their lives

Trauma Group - this is a special group therapy program for adolescent females who have experienced some form of sexual traumaÂ

Kinship Care Group - this is a group for grandparents, uncles/aunts or individuals who are caring for their family members

ADHD Group - educates youth and their families about the diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)Â or Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)Â while teaching coping skills and techniques to be successful at school, with homework, making friends, etc.Â
