Assistant Chief - Evidence Unit

A native of Florida, William Chris Clark joined the Atlanta Police Department in 1988. He joined the department directly after he served in the United States Navy. He spent 32 years with the Atlanta Police Department where he gained knowledge and expertise in a variety of assignments from patrol officer to investigations. In 2010, Chris was promoted to the Rank of Sergeant and served as a sector Sergeant and Administrative Sergeant on the east side of Atlanta where he enjoyed interacting with the various communities and serving the public.

In 2012, Chris was assigned to the Atlanta Police Property and Evidence Section as a Supervising Evidence Custodian. He has attended multiple training courses to include the International Property and Evidence Training related to proper evidence handling, storage, and destruction. Chris will be bringing all his years of experience to the Fulton County Courts. He will utilize his well-rounded skill set and honed talents in the management of evidence for the Fulton County justice system.
