Shelly Faulk is a career prosecuting attorney with over 17 years of experience working throughout the State of Georgia. Ms. Faulk is a proud graduate of Spelman College and Emory University School of Law. Ms. Faulk is currently a member of the State Bar of Georgia and has been sworn into the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia. Prior to joining District Attorney Fani Willis’ administration, Shelly Faulk worked as a Supervisor and Deputy in the Atlanta Judicial Circuit, where she managed a team of more than 20 employees processing nearly 10,000 cases coming into Fulton County. During her time with the Atlanta Judicial Circuit, Ms. Faulk was named Complaint Room Attorney of the Year in 2017 and 2019.

While serving the citizens of Georgia, Shelly Faulk has tried over 100 cases, ranging from fraud and drug trafficking cases to serious sexual assault, child molestation/abuse, and murder cases. Ms. Faulk has proudly represented the State of Georgia for the entirety of her career, beginning in the Dougherty Judicial Circuit, and continuing through until her tenure with the Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit. Ms. Faulk has successfully handled the appeals of over a dozen cases before the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia. While working in the Dougherty Judicial Circuit, Shelly Faulk was named one of “Southwest Georgia’s 40 Under 40” by the Albany Herald. Ms. Faulk also enjoys educating and training a new generation of attorneys and served as the Mock Trial Coach for Decatur High School from 2014 to 2017, as well as the Chair of the Apprentice Committee for the Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit from 2015 to 2017. Shelly Faulk looks forward to using her extensive experience, knowledge, and passion for helping her community to aid the citizens of Fulton County.
