Youth Eligibility Guidelines

Youth participants are required to meet basic W.I.O.A eligibility requirements for W.I.O.A-funded services

Youth Eligibility Requirements

Must be between the ages of 16-24 years old  
If the participant is identified as in-school youth, high school or post-secondary, the participant must be between 16-21 years old.  
Must be a Fulton County Resident.  
Must be low-income.  
Must be a citizen of, or  non-citizen  authorized to work in, the U.S.
 
In addition to the above requirements, each participant must also have a barrier to employment.

Barriers to Employment  

Foster Care: currently in or have aged out of the foster-care system  
Homeless  
Parenting OR Pregnant  
Offender  
Deficient in Basic literacy skills
