Chandrika Derricho a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, experienced program evaluator, and administrator with a demonstrated history of working in the public and the private sector. She is highly skilled in providing therapy services, facilitating groups, and working with various populations including victims of crime, victims of intimate partner violence, and individuals with mental and behavioral health issues. Ms. Derricho is a strong clinical professional with a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) focused in Community Empowerment and Development and a certification in Nonprofit Management from The University of Georgia in Athens, GA. Ms. Derricho is also a graduate of Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Community Psychology and a minor in Communications. She is a Georgia native and graduate of the DeKalb County School Systems.

Prior to joining the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, Ms. Derricho worked at the Georgia Health Policy Center at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA for four years where she served as the clinical expert on a multidisciplinary research team. During her tenure, Chandrika focused on completing health policy research activities, program evaluation, and monitoring of public health programs pertaining to behavioral health, mental health, maternal and child health, Medicaid, and healthcare. Most notably, Ms. Derricho served as the project manager and lead facilitator for a statewide research project to obtain information from Medicaid participants regarding quality improvement and access to healthcare. In addition, each year Ms. Derricho presented her research and program evaluation work in national conferences across the country.

Ms. Derricho has also served as a quality assurance reviewer on federal consent decree versus Fulton and DeKalb County Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) known as the Kenny A Consent Decree. She has also worked as a law enforcement officer with the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles. Also, she has worked and volunteered for over the past 10 years in providing support and advocacy to domestic violence survivors and their families. She brings a well-rounded plethora of experience to the administration of District Attorney, Fani. T. Willis.
