Fulton County Board of Health (FCBOH) Environmental Health mosquito control staff recovered positive mosquito samples for West Nile virus from a trap at a location within the county. The positive test result was reported in the Grant Park area of Northwest Atlanta and indicates the presence of infected mosquitoes in the area.

Fulton County is now accepting proposals from organizations committed to saving lives through education and prevention of opioid use disorders. Proposals are due on August 12, 2026. A virtual information session will be held on July 22, 2026 at 2 p.m.
