The Marshal’s Junior Deputy Program assists students with developing life skills, building superior character, good citizenship, and building leadership skills. Students will also get a firsthand look into law enforcement careers. The annual program runs for one week in the summer.

2025 Junior Deputy Program

We are now accepting applications for our Junior Deputy Program. The program will run from June 23 to June 27, 2025.

Youth that meet the criteria listed below are invited to submit an application by the close of business on Friday June 13, 2025.

Requirements

• Must be between 12 to 16 years old
• Must attend a Fulton County School, be a Fulton County resident or have a family member that is an employee of Fulton County.
• Must complete a one page essay; the topic is included in the application
• Submit a letter of recommendation from a school administrator.
• Applicant must be of good moral character with no arrest or conviction record for serious offenses, including crimes specifically applied to juveniles; any criminal arrest or detainment may be grounds for rejection of the applicant.
