WALK-IN WEDNESDAYS/ NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED (8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
Probate Court will also offer ‘Walk-in Wednesdays.’ Customers can file in-person estate matters without an appointment on Wednesdays during business hours.
Probate Court of Fulton County- Updates Effective June 6, 2022
We are pleased to announce the following new and revised initiatives in the Fulton County Probate Court to provide a better customer service experience for attorneys and their clients. All initiatives take effect on Monday, June 6, 2022.
E-File for Estate Petitions
Electronic filing for many estate petitions is now available online. The following petitions can be filed electronically:

Estate Filings @ Annex Locations
Probate Court has resumed the intake of estate petitions at both the North and South Service Center offices. Clerks will be available to receive, docket, and bill incoming petitions as well as take oaths of fiduciaries. No appointment necessary, times and locations can be found here.
Special Attorney Liaison Clerk
Probate Court has designated a dedicated ‘Attorney Liaison Clerk’ for attorney and paralegal customer service. Appointments for initial filings only (Petition for Letters of Administration, Petition for Order Declaring No Administration Necessary, Petition for Year’s Support, Petition to Probate Will, and Petition to Open Safe Deposit Box) and status updates can be obtained by contacting Lillian Scruggs directly at (404) 612-4655 and Lillian.Scruggs@fultoncountyga.gov.

ADMINISTERING OATHS
Probate Court will continue to take oaths via an open Zoom Room. This service is offered twice weekly on Tuesday mornings from 11 am – 12 Noon and Thursday afternoons from 2 pm – 3 pm. Individuals taking an oath via Zoom will need to have the ability to print a copy of the blank oath to sign and email it back to the Court after the oath is taken, along with a copy of their state-issued identification. OBTAINING CERTIFIED OR TRUE COPIES OF DOCUMENTS
To receive certified copies of any documents related to an Estate Case filed in Fulton County.

A self-addressed stamped envelope, and a Money Order payable to Fulton County Probate Court, the fees are on the Estate Record Request form. All fees are non-refundable.
